Lets Go !!!!
Part 1
First look for tubes that you would
like to use and
see if you can recolor the
scrapkit's materials to go with it
before you start.
Open a New Image : 700 x 600 pixels
and Floodfill with White.
Copy MSG - Heavy Pink - Paper 3.jpg
and Paste as a New Layer.
Image --> Resize --> 80% all Layers
NOT ticked.
Copy MSG - Heavy Pink - Paper 5.jpg
and Paste as a New Layer.
Image --> Resize --> 50% all Layers
NOT ticked.
Image --> Resize --> 75% all Layers
NOT ticked.
Selections --> Select All
Selections --> Float
Selections --> Defloat
Selections --> Modify --> Select
Selection Borders : Inside, Anti
Alias, Border width 2
Floodfill with the color #000000 =
Black
Selections --> Select None.
Move it to the left top - see
example.
Copy MSG - Heavy Pink - Paper 8.jpg
and Paste as a New Layer.
Image --> Resize --> 50% all Layers
NOT ticked.
Image --> Resize --> 75% all Layers
NOT ticked.
Selections --> Select All
Selections --> Float
Selections --> Defloat
Selections --> Modify --> Select
Selection Borders : Inside, Anti
Alias, Border width 2
Floodfill with the color #000000 =
Black
Selections --> Select None.
Move it to the right bottom corner -
see example.
Part 2
Activate the Selection Tool -
Rectangle
Custom Selection : Top 50, Left 100,
Right 400, Bottom 450
Layers - New Raster Layer !!!!!!
Floodfill with a color that goes
with your tubes.
I used #871f59 to go with my tubes.
Leave selection as it is !!!!!!
Copy your tube and Paste as a New
Layer.
Move it so that it fits nicely into
the selection.
If the tube is too big, resize it
first before you copy and paste it
!!!!!!
Selections --> Invert --> Delete.
Selections --> Invert again !!!
Selections --> Modify --> Select
Selection Borders --> Same setting
as before.
Floodfill the border with #000000 =
Black
Selections --> Select None.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Down.
Your tube, the background and the
black border became one layer.
Image - Free Rotate --> Right = 15
degrees and All Layers NOT ticked.
Move the image to the right as per
example.
Now we are going to do the next
image
Activate the Selection Tool -
Rectangle
Custom Selection : Top 50, Left 100,
Right 400, Bottom 450
Layers --> New Raster Layer !!!!!!
Floodfill with a color that goes
with your tubes.

Part 3
Copy and Paste the paperclip (MSG -
Heavy Pink - paperclip.png),
Resize with 85% --> All Layers NOT
ticked
Image - Free Rotate --> Left = 15
degrees and All Layers NOT ticked.
Move it to the left and place -->
see example.
Activate the Freehand Selection Tool
and delete part of the paperclip
so that it gives the effect as if
the photo is clipped to the
background --> see example.
You can do the same with the image
on the right, but rotate the
paperclip to the right then.
Here you can also delete part of the
paperclip so that it can give the
effect
as if the photo are clipped to the
background.
Close the White Background layer by
clicking on the eye in the Layer
Palette.
Merge Layers Visible.
Resize the Layer with 85% all layers
NOT ticked.
Unlock the white background layer by
clicking on the eye in the Layer
Palette.
Now we are going to decorate the tag
with embellishments from the
Scrapkit.
This I leave over to your
imagination and feel free to use my
example,
but you can also go your own way.
Part 4
When you are finished with
decorating, activate the bottom
white layer.
Selections --> Select All
Copy MSG - Heavy Pink - Paper 2.jpg
and Paste as a New Layer
Image --> Crop to Selection
Selections --> Select None.
Layers --> Load/Save Mask --> Load
Mask from Disk --> look for Becky_Mask022.
Tick all the top settings : Source
Luminance --> Fit to Canvas --> Hide
all Mask
Invert transparency is NOT ticked.
Click on Load
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Group.
Copy Doodle for tutorial.png and
paste it as a New Layer on top of
the mask layer.
Apply a Drop Shadow to all the
layers of the tag (except the mask
and the doodle layers)
with the following settings : 0 0 80
10 #000000 = Black
Add your name and/or watermark to
your creations,
and do not forget to add the
copyright details and artist name.
Resize to your liking and save as .jpgHere
